Sentinel Intelligence Corp. (doing business as FinTel) operates the website finteligence.com and the FinTel continuous financial reporting platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about individuals who visit our website or interact with our services.
By using this website or submitting any form on it, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you complete a contact form, a demo request, or a partner inquiry on this website. This may include your name, company name, email address, phone number, and any notes or messages you choose to include.
We also collect standard technical data automatically when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is collected through standard server logs and analytics tools and is used solely for operational and security purposes.
FinTel does not collect financial data directly from website visitors. Financial data processed through the FinTel platform is handled under separate agreements with authorized advisory partners and their clients.
2. How We Use Your Information
Information submitted through website forms is used to respond to your inquiry, connect you with an appropriate advisory partner, or follow up regarding a partnership or lender relationship. We do not use your contact information for unsolicited marketing.
Technical data is used to maintain website security, diagnose technical issues, and understand aggregate traffic patterns. It is not used to identify individual visitors.
3. Advisory Partner Relationships
FinTel services are delivered exclusively through authorized CPA and fractional CFO advisory partners. If you are a business owner whose advisor uses FinTel, the collection and handling of your financial data is governed by your agreement with that advisory firm and by FinTel's data processing agreement with the firm. This Privacy Policy covers only the public-facing website at finteligence.com.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We use third-party tools to operate this website (hosting, analytics, notification services). These providers access only the data necessary to perform their functions and are contractually prohibited from using it for other purposes.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy protections.
5. Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a reasonable record of communications. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
6. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
The FinTel platform itself operates under a separate security architecture described on our Security page, including NDA-gated documentation and SOC 2 compliant infrastructure (certification in progress).
